Lucinda Faulkner Friedman, CRNP, is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at Lockman & Lubell Pediatric Associates. Lucinda has been promoting Health & Wellness to her patients and their families since joining the practice in 2007. Prior to Lockman & Lubell, Lucinda worked in the Emergency Department at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. Additionally, she taught undergraduate clinical nursing at the University of Pennsylvania. Lucinda received her Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the University of Delaware, and her Master's degree in Nursing from Thomas Jefferson University. Lucinda lives in Lafayette Hill with her husband, two boys, and Utley the dog. She enjoys outdoor activities including hiking, running, and summering with her family in Avalon, NJ.

A pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) is a registered nurse (RN) who has additional training in pediatrics. PNPs have a Master's degree in nursing and board certification in their specialty. A PNP has advanced education, skills and training to provide care to infants, children and adolescents. The pediatric nurse practitioners are trained to perform physical exams, diagnose and treat injuries and many common illnesses in pediatric patients. Nurse Practitioners are licensed in all 50 states and can order specific lab tests and diagnostic testing, such as x-rays, blood tests and laboratory tests when needed, and can prescribe various therapies, and most medications when indicated. They work closely with, and under the supervision of the physicians at Lockman & Lubell Pediatric Associates.
